The Government Dental Surgeons Association says that its association has not yet reached a position on the 22nd Amendment to the Constitution.

Issuing a statement, the association has said that the news published in various media in recent days regarding its association's opinion on the 22nd Amendment to the Constitution is completely false.

No discussion has been held in the association's executive committee or central committee regarding the amendment, and no official statement has been issued, says the association's secretary, Dr. Aruna Abhairawadhana.

They point out that their officials only participated in a discussion to inform the trade unions at the invitation of the Sri Lanka Bar Association, and that it does not at all mean that the association is taking a position on the amendment.
