Tourism Minister Harin Fernando said in a post on Twitter that the arrival of foreign tourists crossed the 2 lakh mark in December.
It further states that in the last 4 years, the highest tourist arrival in a month has been recorded in this month of December.
At the beginning of the year 2023, there was a target of bringing 1.5 million tourists and it is expected that the target will be achieved by the end of this year, says Harin Fernando.
