Former Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella, who was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department yesterday in connection with the importation of substandard immunoglobulin injections, was brought before Maligakanda Magistrate Lochana Abeywickrama today.
The magistrate ordered the former minister to be remanded until February 15.
However, the jailed minister's health condition was bad, so he was admitted to the prison hospital, said the media spokesperson of the prison department.
