The second Randoli Perahera street tour of the Senkadagala Esala Perahera took place yesterday (24) at the auspicious time of 7.00 pm.
The Sri Dalada Maligawa Perahera headed east, joining the four major temples of Natha, Vishnu, Pattini and Kataragama.
The procession passed through Dalada Veediya, D. S. Senanayake Veediya, Colombo Veediya, Yatinuwara Veediya, Raja Veediya, E. L. Senanayake Veediya, Haras Veediya and D. S. Senanayake Veediya and then returned to the Sri Dalada Maligawa via Raja Veediya.
The Diyawadana Nilame Nilanga Dela, representing the Sri Dalada Maligawa, joined the procession. A large crowd of devotees lined both sides of the road to watch the Randoli Perahera.
