The Sri Lankan rupee has depreciated again against the US dollar, Central Bank reports confirm.
According to the daily exchange rate issued by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka today (22), the buying price of a US dollar is recorded as Rs. 329.30 and its selling price is recorded as Rs. 339.06.
However, according to the exchange rates issued by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka last Friday, the buying price of a US dollar was recorded as Rs. 328.00 and the selling rate of a dollar was recorded as Rs. 338.70.
