Lawyer Nuwan Bopage says that President Anura Kumara Dissanayake's behavior resembles that of a cunning fox and a fearsome lion. He expressed these views while participating in a media conference organized by the People's Struggle Alliance today (14).
Lawyer Nuwan Bopage pointed out that during the discussion between the President and the Bar Association regarding the extension of the retirement age of judges, his behavior was not like that of a Marxist or Leninist, and that his behavior was not like that of a liberal democrat.
He also said that the President has followed the theory of acting like a fox or a lion in Machiavelli's philosophy to justify his objective.
Attorney Nuwan Bopage also criticized the Presidential Media Division for releasing only footage from the President's side to the media during the discussion held with the Bar Association.
