President Anura Dissanayake paid his last respects to the late Priyankara Perera, a veteran singer and actor.
He died on the night of the 1st while receiving treatment at the Colombo National Hospital after a long illness. He was 64 years old at the time of his death. He was the son of J. A. Milton Perera, a popular singer in the country.
