President Anura Kumara Dissanayake reportedly said during a discussion with representatives of the Sri Lanka Bar Association yesterday (12) afternoon that the current vacancies in the judicial system will be filled within a month.

The President emphasized that he is ready to accept any position or risk his life to bring about the necessary changes in the country, and that he will never use his executive power or other powers beyond the Constitution.

He emphasized that he is ready to accept any risk as it is impossible to bring about change in the country without taking risks.

The President stated that his life is at risk even while continuing the investigations into the Easter attacks through the intelligence agencies, and that it is not fair to interpret the changes made in the judicial system as a privilege focused on an individual, and that this is an attempt to transform the entire judicial system to the next level.
