It is reported that the National Organizer of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna, Member of Parliament, Attorney-at-Law Namal Rajapaksa, who is in remand, is preparing to send a letter to the Secretary General of Parliament, Attorney-at-Law Kushani Rohanadeera.
Political sources say that he is going to request in the letter to provide the necessary facilities to attend the parliamentary meetings scheduled to be held in the coming days.
It is reported that the letter is going to be sent to the Secretary General of Parliament tomorrow.
Accordingly, Namal Rajapaksa is said to have the opportunity to attend the parliamentary sessions scheduled to be held from Tuesday (08) to the 11th.
Namal Rajapaksa, who was arrested in connection with an incident in which he allegedly received a bribe in the Airbus deal, has been ordered to be remanded until the 18th by Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama.
