He was arrested and produced before the court on suspicion of accepting a bribe of 800,000 US dollars in the Airbus aircraft purchase incident that caused a great stir.

The MP arrived at the Commission this morning (04) to give a statement in connection with an investigation being conducted by the Bribery Commission regarding the Airbus deal.
