The Panadura Magistrate’s Court has issued an arrest warrant for underworld leader and drug trafficker Salindu Malshika Gunaratne, known as ‘Kudu Salindu’, for failing to comply with the bail conditions imposed by the court.
As reported by the media, Kudu Salindu, who was previously released on bail, was required to report to the Criminal Investigations Department every Sunday. However, he did not appear before the Criminal Investigations Department yesterday, its officers reported to the court.
The Criminal Investigations Department presented the facts in this regard to the Panadura Magistrate’s Court today and the day before yesterday. The court, having considered the facts, issued a warrant to arrest Kudu Salindu and to produce him before the court.
