The Court of Appeal today ordered that the writ petition filed by former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa seeking an order to prevent his arrest under the Prevention of Terrorism Act in connection with the investigations into the Easter Sunday terrorist attacks be postponed until August 3rd for further consideration.
When the petition was taken up today, President's Counsel Romesh de Silva, who appeared for the petitioner Gotabaya Rajapaksa, made his reply today.
The court then ordered that further submissions be postponed until August 3rd.
