Former President Chandrika Kumaratunga states that the power of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party lies with the people and not with those who hold the board.
She further said that the current party leaders of the SLFP are working to pawn the SLFP to the Rajapaksas and that they will help anyone who comes forward to advance the party's agenda.
She said that she is not talking with the party president Maithipala Sirisena and Dayasiri, who changed the party seven times, but with the real members of the Sri Lanka National Liberation Front. She said this while speaking at a press conference.
