One person died and 06 others were injured and hospitalized in an accident that occurred in the Wellamadama area of Matara this evening (19).
The accident occurred when a cement-laden lorry traveling from Devundara to Matara collided with a Defender traveling from Matara to Devundara.
Seven people were traveling in the Defender at the time of the accident. The Matara Police are conducting further investigations.
