The Navy Media Spokesperson states that a Navy vessel, the Dora, has been involved in an accident in the sea near Angulana.
He said that operations have now begun to rescue the people on board the vessel that was involved in the accident and that 11 people have been rescued with the assistance of the Sri Lanka Air Force.
Commenting on this, the Air Force Media Spokesperson stated that the Air Force has already deployed an MI 17 helicopter and a Bell 412 aircraft to monitor the accident-hit Navy vessel.
